Nina Scherer
Founded by Nina Scherer, TLA Journal is a digital publication dedicated to psychology, philosophy, and contemporary culture, presenting carefully considered essays alongside interviews and analytical writing on literature, film, and the arts. With a particular focus on the ideas that shape how we understand identity, relationships, and the emotional life of the modern individual, the journal offers a reflective voice within contemporary psychological and cultural discourse, addressing pressing intellectual questions with conceptual clarity and independence of thought.
Scherer studied Dramatic and Performing Arts in Belgrade before specializing in cognitive behavioral methodology and applied psychological practice in therapy and counseling. Her further training includes advanced study at Harvard Medical School in General Psychiatric Management for Borderline Personality Disorder, alongside continuing education in existential psychology. Since 2015, she has worked with individuals, couples, and groups from diverse backgrounds. From 2020. onwards, her practice has increasingly evolved into mentoring programs that combine psychological methods with practices drawn from the dramatic arts, offering a structured framework for exploring emotional processes and deepening self-understanding.
